There is something that just feels so good about giving back. This was a big part of my new years resolution this year was to start giving back. Eventually, I hope to be able to travel and help others along the way. But for now, I am doing what I can from home.
One of those ways included becoming a brand ambassador for Sand Cloud Towels.
Sand Cloud Towels does something amazing. They, as I am sure you have guessed, sell towels. They do also sell a lot of other accessories, such as water bottles, shirts, necklaces, laptop stickers, etc. But here is the best part. 10% of every sale is donated to saving marine life, something near and dear to my heart.
I grew up with the dream of going swimming with dolphins. I do not know why that was my ultimate dream, but it just was. I was obsessed. So obsessed my entire bathroom was themed dolphins, with a dolphin shower curtain and dolphin wall paper. To this day, I still have not gotten to swim with dolphins, but I have pet and fed them which was a great experience.
More importantly, I grew up boating, which gave me a very quick appreciation for both the water and the animals who called it home.
Saving the ocean and the animals that live in it is something extremely important, especially with all of the pollution our waters hold now a days. It is unfair that some of these animals have to live in trash, or even be killed by trash. Many times, dolphins and other marine life find themselves tangled in large fishing nets. This can ultimately also kill them.
We need to take action, and that is exactly what Sand Cloud is starting to do.
So jump on board and help these amazing creatures, they deserve it.
